Wood or natural stone

CLEANING OF ALUMINUM, MARBLE, NATURAL STONE OR WOOD SURFACES

WHAT CAN YOU USE FOR A GENTLE CLEANING?

Many cleaning agents can be used on all types of surfaces, but not on sensitive surfaces such as natural stone, marble or aluminum. However, it often happens that these are the materials that need cleaning. So what can be done to prevent discoloration, dulling, roughening and corrosion?

When you clean natural stone, aluminum, limestone or marble, you should always use a pH-neutral, non-film-forming (and therefore film-free) detergent that disinfects and is suitable for food to avoid poisoning.

In the case of the real wood, stains and dirt should be removed immediately with a damp cloth, not a wet one. Dirt should never dry. If the stain dries and is stubborn, a little neutral soap can be added to the damp cloth. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain, so as not to stress the material unnecessarily. Dry the surface just as quickly to prevent water from penetrating and the wood from swelling.
