CLEANING THE WINDOWS

HOW TO CLEAN WINDOWS BEST

Very few people enjoy cleaning windows because it is exhausting and rarely truly satisfying. With our Glasklar and universal cleaner and with the right technology, annoying streaks and limescale stains disappear almost automatically, making window cleaning a breeze.

The Right Window Cleaning Accessories: This Is What You Need

  • A brush for coarse dirt on the window frame
  • Bucket with warm water and a few splashes of universal cleaner for a deep clean while Glasklar for ordinary cleaning
  • a sponge for soaping the glass
  • a squeegee to remove water
  • a lint-free cotton cloth to wipe up dripping water
  • a microfiber cloth or absorbent window leather for polishing

Cleaning Windows Without Streaks: This Is How It Works

First, use the window brush to remove coarse dirt, leaves and cobwebs from the window frame and sill. Now thoroughly soap the window glass in circular motions and quickly and in a straight line remove the water from the glass using the squeegee. Hold a lint-free cotton cloth near the edge of the window to catch the water that drips from the squeegee. With a leather or microfiber cloth you can polish the glass without streaks.

Window Cleaning: When and How Often Should You Clean Your Windows?

Windows should not only be cleaned during spring cleaning. In summer, dust and pollen dirty the glass, in autumn and winter it is bad weather. Exhaust fumes leave a dusty layer on the outside while hands leave fingerprints. Therefore, try to clean the windows every 1 or 2 months.

When is the best time to clean them? Clean your windows when the sun is about to set or on a cloudy day, because in direct sunlight, the water on the windows evaporates very quickly and leaves streaks. Also, do not clean on cold days with temperatures below zero degrees. The water can freeze on the glass and eventually leave streaks.
