Wood or natural stone

If the stain dries and is stubborn, a little neutral soap can be added to the damp cloth. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain, so as not to stress the material unnecessarily. Dry the surface just as quickly to prevent water from penetrating and the wood from swelling.
