Cleaning the bicycle

CLEANING YOUR BICYCLE

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN YOUR BIKE AND MAKE IT FIT FOR THE CYCLING SEASON?

To enjoy your bike for a long time, you should clean it regularly, but at least after and just before the cycling season. After a ride through mud, dirt, snow and rain, a thorough cleaning is inevitable in order to avoid damage and to save in the long run on repair costs and spare parts.

Our cleaning tips work great for motorcycles too.

What do you need to clean your bike?

Find a place where you can handle the bike well from all sides and that has enough space for a stool or something similar so that you can also sit down. Ideally, there should be a hose nearby that you can use to save time rinsing.

Prepare the following tools: sponge, cloth, bucket, water with Labofix,

Here's How to Clean Your Bike the Right Way

Remove the coarse dirt with a water hose and/or brush.

Our products are particularly suitable for cleaning Labofix and Labofix corrosion protection. With these cleaners you get an optimal cleaning result and at the same time you take care of your bike.

It is best to soften really stubborn dirt by leaving the product to act for 3-5 minutes.

Now clean the driving force of the bicycle, i.e. the chain, the chainrings and the gears.

To clean your chain, chainrings and gears use our Labofix corrosion protection. Thanks to its special corrosion protection properties, a special chain cleaner from a specialist retailer is not necessary. Simply spray the chain, chainrings and sprockets, leave for 3-5 minutes and rinse with clean water.

Don't forget to grease the chain at the end.
